Missions.

Rhythms of Grace: Discovering God’s Tempo for Your Life
by Kerri Weems

Life is not a sprint; it’s a marathon. These well-known words of wisdom remind us to pace ourselves in the journey of life so we reach the finish line with no regrets. Pacing yourself is not as easy as it sounds. Life tends to take on a pace of its own which when left unchecked, will drive us toward burnout and fatigue. We can easily become driven by care, worry, and ambition rather than led by the Holy Spirit. We may tend to think of burnout as a modern problem, but we can see that people in Jesus’ day felt their own kind of spiritual and emotional fatigue. Why else would Jesus have said these comforting words?

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly (Matt. 11:28-30; The Message).

Even though he spoke these words more than two millennia ago, Jesus’ call to rest and peace seem tailor-made to fit this generation.

Author Kerri Weems had let the pace and rhythm of her life get out of control. At first the consequences were only physical, but they quickly impacted her spiritual life. Since then, God has been teaching her to walk in time with him; he is teaching her to be led rather than driven. In this book, she opens up her life and shares this journey with the reader. God’s best for each of us is that we go the full distance of our race, and not just crawl exhausted across the finish line. God wants us to enjoy the race and cross the line with our heads held high, a smile on our faces, and our arms lifted in a double fist-punch! Getting to that moment is all about learning the rhythms of grace and pacing ourselves for the long run.

What People Are Saying...

“The Christian life was never meant to be a do-it-yourself project, and thank God it doesn’t have to be! The Holy Spirit is here to empower and enable us as we serve God’s purpose in our generation. In A Spirit-Empowered Life, Dr. Clarensau challenges each of us to welcome the Spirit’s work and experience all God has for us in the twenty-first century. This exciting new book will inspire your journey and change your life.”
—Dr. Billy Wilson, president of Oral Roberts University

“It seems everyone is looking for something ‘extra.’ Google ‘personal power’ and you’ll get more than 242,000,000 hits! But that search for personal power is futile—never yielding enough power to manage life and its challenges. A Spirit-Empowered Life will help you discover a new way to live. No more searching for your power in books, programs, or from the latest expert. Invest just ten minutes a day for forty days and learn what it means to truly experience power. Thank God, He has a plan for you to live differently, with His power!”
—Rod Loy, senior pastor, First Assembly of God, North Little Rock, Arkansas; author of Three Questions, Immediate Obedience, and After the Honeymoon

“How would you feel if you were one of Christ’s disciples and He said: ‘I’m leaving; you’re staying. Everything you try will be opposed by an adversary; and by the way, you must go out and train everyone you meet to practice all I have commanded you.’ Would you feel unprepared? Overwhelmed? Fearful? If you think this is an impossible mandate, remember that He also said: ‘Don’t be afraid; I will help you to accomplish what I require.’ Natural ability can never produce supernatural results. In his book A Spirit-Empowered Life Mike Clarensau will lead you on an exciting journey to a life that is significant, fulfilled, and spiritually effective.”

Spread the Fire: Spirit Baptism in Today's Culture
by Scott Wilson and John Bates

Today’s church is hungry for supernatural moves of God. This invigorating book invites pastors and church leaders to a new level of training, teaching, and modeling Spirit-filled living. Diligent leaders already address vital topics like forgiveness, integrity, reaching the lost, and more, but the need is for these same leaders to weave teaching about the baptism in the Holy Spirit into daily church life. Leaders ignite the flame by sharing testimonies of tongues, signs and wonders, prophecy, and other divine moves of God. Church services and board meetings can incorporate prayer in the Spirit and an invitation to testify. On the day of Pentecost, tongues of fire fell in Spirit baptism. Let leaders today reclaim a Spirit-empowered church.

Inside Out: How Everyday People Become Extraordinary Leaders
by Rich and Robyn Wilkerson

When you pair selflessness with compassion, you’ve got transformational force. Rich Wilkerson and his wife, Robyn, fill this exhilarating book with exciting stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things for God. The Wilkersons' concept is that “Anyone” can be a servant leader. Age, background, and education don’t matter. This ministry couple has followed servant leaders into hospitals, prisons, and high-crime areas. Their book isn’t about culture, politics, or religion. It’s about setting aside differences, forming new bonds with others who choose to meet needs, and taking action. In these pages you’ll find concrete reasons to both lead and serve.

A Spirit-Empowered Church: An Acts 2 Ministry Model
by Alton Garrison

It’s not a mystery why some churches grow, some remain stagnant, and others decline. The biblical principles for spiritual multiplication are evident in the pages of the Scriptures… if we’ll only notice them.

In A Spirit-Empowered Church, Alton Garrison points us to the heart of dynamic church growth: creating Spirit-empowered disciples who are involved in five activities—connect, grow, serve, go, and worship—to change individuals, families, and communities with the love and power of God’s mighty Spirit. Combining a strong biblical approach with inspirational insights and personal stories, Garrison shares the Acts 2 church model that can renew the spiritual vitality of your congregation.

The church of Acts 2 turned the first-century world upside down for Jesus. God wants to use your church to do the same today.

by Lisa Bevere

Women are the targets of prejudice, sex trafficking, abuse, and even gendercide worldwide. These targeted attacks are more about who women might become in the future than who they have been in the past.

In Girls with Swords, Lisa Bevere explains how the enemy seeks to disarm women on every level but they aren't resigned to a victimized fate. Instead, it is time for women to become the heroes God created them to be and stand courageous, discerning, forgiving, and wise.

Clear the Stage: Making Room for God
by Scott Wilson and John Bates

#1 on Amazon (Church Leadership category)

Can your church be both seeker-friendly and Spirit-filled?

In Clear the Stage, Scott Wilson and John Bates share how God gave them a vision to marry these two divergent streams of church practice. You don’t have to choose between the old revivalist mentality and the more recent seeker-friendly plan. Instead, the authors present a whole new way of doing church that clears the stage so the Spirit of God can do what only He can.

Based on their own life-changing experiences, Scott and John share how you can use the sacred traditions of the Pentecostal experience to reach out to the lost while also discipling believers in a new and relevant way.

Fearless: How Jesus Changes Everything
by George O. Wood

A caring pastor and author meets with you daily in this collection of 261 inspiring devotions. Dr. George O. Wood examines the Book of Mark while providing a Scripture passage and prayer for each day. Wood is an engaging storyteller who shares an upbeat mini-story or vignette every day. For example, one day’s reading introduces the first grocery store owner to offer grocery carts for customers. It took time for people to accept this helpful new idea, since they had always carried everything themselves. Dr. Wood explains that our Savior does something similar for us. We tend to carry more burdens than necessary, so the Lord reaches out and says, “Let Me do it for you.”
